Peter Criss bringing rock event to London

Rock n’ Con, a new rock-music celebration featuring Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister and Peter Criss of KISS, is coming to London this spring.

The event is to be held at the London Music Hall and is billed as “part record collectors’ show and part music convention” combined with concerts and opportunities to meet rock legends.

The event on June 9-10 is being organized by Andrew Kitt and Jacob Windatt, who manage the London Comic Con.

Kitt said the new event uses the Comic Con formula and applies it to rock music.

“Rock n’ Con is an opportunity for fans to come together and celebrate everything they love about rock-music culture,” he said.

Kitt said the event will offer a backstage experience, allowing fans to meet the rock stars and get autographs and photos.

Fans can also shop for collectibles and band merchandise and attend panel discussions with industry insiders.

Dee Snider, frontman for heavy-metal band Twisted Sister, will be at the event both days and will perform at the after-party event at the Rum Runners room of the London Music Hall.
